Congress Language

The Congress language is English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided. Symposia in national languages organized by the national affiliated societies will be offered on Sunday, 14 November 2010, from 11.00 h.

Publication for Proceedings

The European Society for Sexual Medicine retains the right to publish all material presented at the Congress in an ESSM publication.

Technical Exhibition

A major technical exhibition will be organized in the Pavilion 1 of the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos. Coffee bars and catering stations for lunch will be located in the vicinity of the technical exhibition. Potential exhibitors can request exhibition information from the Exhibition Office CPO HANSER SERVICE.

Poster Exhibition

Posters will be sited in the Pavilion 1 where also the technical exhibition takes place, next to the main meeting rooms. Information regarding poster format, set-up and dismantling will be sent to the authors along with their notification of acceptance.

Final Program and Abstract Book

The Final Program will be published on the Internet at CO CONGRESS ONLINE® by the beginning of October 2010. Abstracts will be published in an abstract book and in CO CONGRESS ONLINE® from the first congress day. Participants will receive a copy of the Final Program and abstract book along with the congress documentation.

Coffee and Lunch Breaks

Coffee and tea will be served during the morning and afternoon coffee breaks from Monday 15 November to Wednesday, 17 November 2010 free of charge to all participants wearing congress name badges. A complimentary snack buffet will be offered during lunch time for all registered congress delegates in the exhibition area on Monday and Tuesday. The congress venue also provides a
self-service restaurant.

Letter of Invitation

The Congress will be pleased to send a formal letter of invitation to any individual requesting one. It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates to raise funds or to obtain a visa. This does not imply a commitment from the Congress to provide any financial support. Letters of invitation may be requested from the Congress Office.

The entry formalities for Spain vary according to the country of origin. Please address enquiries about entry and vaccination requirements to your travel agent or the local Spanish consulate.

Travel to Malaga

By plane
Malaga Airport is located 8 kilometres from the capital. By car Malaga Airport can be reached within the municipality of Malaga, to the southwest of the capital, and can be accessed from the E-15 motorway, which also forms the Malaga ring road, or Avenida de Velázquez, which goes directly into the city centre. The congress centre is located between the airport and city centre. www.aena.es

Malaga Railway Station constitutes one of the city’s most important communication nodes with the rest of the province, as well as with the Andalusian region, the rest of Spain and with Europe.

Insurance

The Congress fee does not include insurance. All participants should arrange for their own insurance. Health and accident insurance is recommended and has to be purchased in your country of origin.

Currency

The official Spain currency is EUR. Credit cards are fitly accepted.

Climate

The climate in Malaga is extremely moderate in winter, with very mild temperatures. The average temperature during the day in November is 15 ° Celsius. Over the year Malaga enjoys an average of 330 days of sun.
